Chestermere is an Alberta city within Rocky View County and is most known for the beautiful Lake it surrounds. In 2014 it was named the fastest growing town in Alberta and was given city status on January 1st, 2015.  Chestermere is Alberta's 18th city and the closest city to Calgary.  Chestermere has become a desirable location for many people who are looking for the small town and urban lifestyle.  Chestermere offers a variety of recreational amenities that cater to all age groups.
